Power, Voltage, and Fit: Getting the Details Right
Here’s the thing about these heaters: it’s all about the balance—wattage, voltage, and size. Take the 400V, 2500W setup. It’s a go-to for industrial machines because it pulls less current than a 230V unit of the same power. Less current means less strain on your wiring and contactors. And that 300mm tube length? Totally intentional. It slips into tight spots—like blow molding heads or thermoforming tools—so the heat lands right where the process needs it.
Built to Last: Materials That Matter
The quartz envelope handles the extreme heat needed for shortwave infrared. Inside, the halogen cycle keeps the filament clean, so the lamp stays bright and consistent over its life. We also added a gold coating on the tube. It reflects infrared energy back onto the target, which boosts efficiency. And the connectors? We use R7s. They give you a solid, two-point contact that locks the lamp in place and handles high current without getting hot.
