You don&amp;rsquo;t feel the air around you get warm before you feel the sun on your skin—you just feel the heat instantly. Our IR emitters do the exact same thing. They send energy straight to the person or the object, skipping the air entirely.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;It&amp;rsquo;s instant.&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;We use a high-wattage filament inside a quartz tube. The second you flip the switch, it hits operating temperature. No waiting around. For someone stepping out of a pool into a luxury changing room or a guest walking onto a chilly bar patio, it kills that &amp;ldquo;cold shock&amp;rdquo; immediately. It just feels cozy.&#xA;Now, putting these things outside is a different beast. Rain and humidity love to ruin electronics. To stop that from happening, we use waterproof housings that keep the moisture far away from the electrical guts. We also use polished aluminum or gold-coated reflectors. This makes sure the heat is pushed down toward your guests, rather than wasting energy by heating up the back of the fixture.&#xA;But here is a heads-up: keep an eye on your power.&#xA;If you pack too many of these into one area to get massive heat, you might just trip your breakers. You&amp;rsquo;ve got to make sure your electrical panel can actually handle the draw before you go all out.&#xA;When it comes to the actual install, it&amp;rsquo;s usually pretty painless. Most of these just drop right into old halogen setups, and we use standard connectors to get the job done fast.&#xA;One last thing—don&amp;rsquo;t mount them too low. Short-wave IR is powerful stuff. If the lamp is too close to the surface, it’ll get way too hot right underneath. Get the height right, and the heat spreads out perfectly across the whole zone.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
